The puppy package includes all wellness visits and vaccines as outlined above.

Owners are responsible for purchase of heartworm and flea/tick prevention after the initial doses included

Regular pricing applies to any non-wellness visit, diagnostics, or medications.

At the completion of the puppy series all vaccines are good for 1 year. Vaccines will need to be boostered regularly afterwards.

This guideline serves as a template; ages of puppy may vary depending on when previous vaccines were given by the breeder, shelter, or pet store.

After reviewing the puppy’s records the veterinarian will determine which vaccines are needed and at what times.

Side effects can occur with any vaccine administered. Signs and symptoms you should monitor for are: localized swelling at the area the vaccine was given, inappetance, increased sleepiness, fever, vomiting, and hives. The Puppy Package is non-refundable and non-transferrable and expires 6 months after signing

Breakdown of Vaccines

Distemper – highly contagious viral disease that affects the respiratory, gastrointestinal and central nervous systems

Adenovirus - spread by contact with the urine and feces of infected animals, this virus causes liver and kidney damage, animals that survive may have chronic illness

Parvovirus – a widespread virus carried through infected stool. The virus invades the intestinal wall and causes severe diarrhea and vomiting and can also attack the bone marrow

Parainfluenza – cause by a virus which produces a mild respiratory tract infection.

Leptospirosis** – a bacterial disease that primarily affects the liver and kidneys. It is transmitted by wild mammals and rodents and contagious to humans.

Lyme** – is transmitted by infected ticks that attach and take a blood meal from dogs.

Bordetella** – an infectious condition that causes respiratory illness

Rabies – 100% fatal viral disease once symptoms appear. It is transmittable and lethal to humans.

Canine Influenza Virus** – a highly contagious respiratory virus. Can result in pneumonia.
